Teaching Fellow in Museum and Heritage Studies Programme at Victoria University of Wellington.

  • Robyn has responsibility for the coordination of the Practicum papers, developing professional practice across the museum and heritage sector.

Robyn has more than 30 years’ experience working as a consultant across the recreation, sport, arts, health and education sectors. Her strategic leadership in the arts, sport, recreation and education sectors involves research, critical analysis and solution development. She has governance, planning, facilitation, training and mentoring skills. Using creative, consultative and interactive approaches has a solid track record of successfully leading complex projects to meet her clients’ satisfaction.

She has developed national and international networks that enable fresh thinking and innovation in stakeholder engagement, needs assessment, service and facility design and operational reviews.

She is often asked to take on tough assignments, where relationships are critical.

About Lucy

Lucy has more than 25 years’ experience writing for a variety of audiences. She is able to synthesise complex information into readable formats.

She has extensive experience as a disability advocate, tertiary educator and youth worker.

She has worked in a range of event, planning and policy roles in local authority parks and recreation.

With lived experience of neurodiversity as well as a focus on ASD in her Post graduate diploma, Lucy understands how being neurodiverse can impact on young people’s experiences of recreation and sport.

Bachelor of Arts, Post Graduate Diploma in Disability Studies.

With lived experience of neurodiversity as well as a focus on ASD in her Post graduate diploma, Lucy understands how being neurodiverse can impact on young people’s experiences of recreation and sport.   She is interested in modifications to programming and environments to increase participation for neurodiverse people in particular those on the autism spectrum.

She has presented to the outdoors, recreation and education sectors  on working with people on the spectrum.

She is an active outdoors person and highly values the positive benefits of outdoor experiences for people with ASD.
